What is Iris Market Builder?

Iris Market Builder is a hosted website management system. Hosted means we install it on our server space for you and you don't need separate website hosting setup to use the system. A website management system provides a way for you to update your own website pages.

It's not a design builder. You can use any of our built in templates free, create your own if you know HTML, or hire a designer to create one for you. Once the design is setup, everything else can be managed through the online interface without HTML knowledge.

What's included in the monthly fee?

Your $9.99/monthly fee includes your hosting space (the space on the server that your website and email "lives" on) and basic support for the system. This means if you've got a questions about how to setup your email, check your statistics, or edit a page, we'll help you by providing directions on how to do that. It doesn't mean we'll do it for you. ;-) If you'd like a fully managed website where you just send a list of changes you want and someone makes them for you, please consider hiring any of the designers listed on the design partner page and they'll be happy to help you.

Like the saying goes, "Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, feed him for life."
